This sieve for sifting soil for your bonsai has 3 different size grids (2-5-7 mm) according to the different earth mixtures. Every type of bonsai requires different soil: finer for the miniatures and coarser for conifers. Larger granules are needed at the bottom of the pot to ensure good drainage (very important for conifers).
